While the price tag of these printers may be higher than many others, this is for a number of reasons:

- It has a much longer total lifetime
- It has a lower per page toner cost (if you printer large volumes, this can be more cost effective)
- It will print faster
- It will process (and be able to hold) large print jobs better
- It will give you higher quality results
- It will mean people are waiting less time for the printer

As a quick breakdown, if you can save 10 cents on the cost of a page by moving to a larger printer, and you print 1,000 pages per month, that equals out to a savings of $100 per month, or $1,200 per year – these savings can easily save you much more than the cost of the printer, and at the same time give you a better quality unit.

For the Heavy Duty category, my favorite unit has been the HP LaserJet 4700N.

The HP LaserJet 4700N has proven to me to be one of the most reliable printers, as well as one of the most effective.

I’ve got great quality out of my HP, and lots of success in all of the clients I’ve placed it with.
